Justin Brian Metz
Justin recently had a birthday and turned 25! He was so excited to get the insurance discount! I think that was
better than having cake for him! HaHa! He resigned from Angola back in January and took a job working for the Water District
in West Feliciana Parish. He absolutely LOVES it! He says that he can't imagine how he ever had a second thought about leaving
Angola, because there is no way he would ever go back! He gets to work with his cousin, Julius, which is partly why he enjoys
it so much!
Since he started his new job, he has ALOT of extra time, which he also enjoys! He has began to go fishing almost
every afternoon. He even has time to help with mowing the grass and working in the flower beds, which I'm not so
sure if he likes that part! Justin is still a big duck hunting nut, not that anyone ever thought that would change any! He
literally eats, sleeps, breathes duck hunting, and when it's not duck season he leaves a little time for fishing! Overall,
things are going very well for him!
Jennifer Arceneaux Metz
Jennifer is still working in shift work for the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office at the 911 Center, She
received a promotion just before Christmas of last year. She is now Corporal Jennifer Metz! woohoo! She is also still working
for Dr. Liz Patterson at the Audubon Animal Hospital two days a week! Working there is what she calls her "fun job", because
she has such a good time while there, it's almost not like working! Jennifer just bought a new vehicle, which she absolutely
loves-a Ford Explorer XLT. In what little spare time Jennifer actually has, she likes to spend it with family and friends.
On her off Monday, she likes to pick up William, her nephew, and spend the day with him!
The Infamous Baby Question????????
Now that we have made the purchase of a bigger vehicle, the infamous question is "So when are you going
to start filling that thing up with kids?" !
Well, the answer is, "Whenever God thinks it's time!" We have turned that question over to him. Jennifer
has been going to the doctor alot and having numerous tests run. It seems that she is having some problems, that may or may
not allow her to conceive a child. She is currently taking ALOT of medication and vitamins and hormones, blah blah blah! All
in an effort to help her body out a little. We don't know if it will work or not! So, as we said before, it has been handed
over to God to handle! In the mean time, we borrow our friends and families children and then return them later! All of them
seem to enjoy it, because we are the most willing babysitters you could ever find! We will often cancel other plans just to
stay at home and play with a baby!
So, if you don't mind, keep us in your prayers, we need 'em when it comes to the baby department and dealing
with all of it!
